Data Deletion Instructions (Facebook & Instagram Users)

Rocky & Maggie’s (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the following method for Facebook/Instagram (Meta) users to request deletion of personal data that has been shared with our Shopify store or related apps.

What this covers

If you used “Log in with Facebook/Instagram,” clicked our Meta ads, or otherwise interacted with our store via Meta technologies, you can request deletion of data we hold about you in connection with those interactions.

How to request deletion

Option A — Request deletion directly from us (fastest)

  1. Send an email to customersupport@rockyandmaggies.com with subject line: Data Deletion Request.
  2. Please include:
    • Your full name
    • Email address you used with our store (and/or your Facebook/Instagram account email)
    • Facebook User ID (if known)
    • Any order numbers (if you made a purchase)

Option B — Remove our app via Facebook settings

  1. Open Facebook > Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. Go to Apps and Websites > Logged in with Facebook.
  3. Select our app/store if listed and choose Remove.
  4. Then email us at customersupport@rockyandmaggies.com to confirm you’d like your data deleted from our systems as well.

What we delete

Upon a valid request, we will delete personal data we control that is reasonably associated with you, which may include:

  • Contact information (name, email, phone)
  • Shipping/billing addresses
  • Order history and account details
  • Facebook/Instagram identifiers we may have stored (e.g., Facebook User ID)
  • Marketing events associated with Meta (e.g., pixel events tied to your profile)

Verification

For your security, we may ask you to verify your email address, recent order info, or Facebook/Instagram User ID. We will only process the request for the verified account.

Timeline

  • Acknowledgment: We typically confirm receipt within 7 business days.
  • Deletion: We aim to complete deletion within 30 days, unless an extension is reasonably necessary or we must retain certain records to comply with law (e.g., tax/audit obligations). If retention is required, we will minimize what we keep and explain why.

Shopify customer accounts

If you created a Shopify customer account on our site, you may also:

  1. Log in to your account (top-right “Account” link on our site),
  2. Review or update your information, and
  3. Request deletion by emailing us at customersupport@rockyandmaggies.com.
